Share OverSeas members went to Journey’s the Road Home “homeless shelter” in Palatine. We had a great turnout with many bags of donations ranging from food to clothes to toiletries and more. We toured the shelter and learned about what it meant to be homeless and how to help. It was an eye opening experience to realize how many homeless people there are in the Northwest Suburbs. They are always open to donations or volunteers. Thank you to everyone who came and supported us and thank you to Journeys for allowing us to come and visit their shelter.
